It All Started with a Very Special Plant
The domination of a specific variety and clone of a never-before-commercialized rainforest plant has afforded us the unique opportunity to help mankind through altruism and to give to the world the blessing of being the recipients of never-before-described new medical drugs that effectively treat difficult medical issues common to our modern American lifestyles.
This rainforest plant has been known for centuries and used by local tribespeople for centuries in the equator zones in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean States for minor ailments both internally and externally. Basic science publications in ethnopharmacology (prior art) exist about the efficacy of the plant’s phytochemicals; however, there have been no clinical trials to develop its potential as a commercialized pharmaceutical medicine.

In collaboration with Texas A&M University (TAMU), Berry Pharmaceuticals, LLC completed a 24-month private research project establishing greenhouse operational protocols for propagation, cultivation and harvesting of the plant biomass..
From Science to Healing
Berry Pharma then conducted its own 30-month pilot study implementing the established protocols performed by TAMU for verification of the proprietary methods.
